Reading instruction relies on hearing, seeing, and practicing sounds and patterns, all of which students can do over Zoom when their tutor has a document camera and other tools designed for online instruction. Kids Up's tutors use the same Orton-Gillingham and Kilpatrick methods and materials online that they'd use in person. Plus, online means no commute - and that makes it easier to fit in the 2-5 sessions a week that lead to fast progress. Most of our students work with their tutor 3 or more times/week, and most graduate from the Kids Up program in 4-9 months.

Kids Up Reading Tutors offers live, 1-on-1 reading and dyslexia (plus spelling and dysgraphia) tutoring online across the US, and in-person in Tucson, AZ.

We work with families and students in grades 1–12 in public, private, religious, international and homeschool settings. Many families find us through referrals from friends, classmates, schools and trusted psychologists.

Kids Up Reading Tutors proudly works with American and other English-speaking families living abroad. Whether you're stationed overseas, working internationally for a few years, or raising your family outside the US long-term, we provide the same live, 1-on-1 reading and spelling instruction we offer families across the US.

We work with students at international schools, bilingual schools, local schools, homeschool programs and more. Many of our expat students are bilingual or multilingual, and we understand how learning to read in more than one language can affect a child's progress. Our instruction is in English, so students should be comfortable with conversational English before beginning.

Sessions are scheduled around your time zone, with flexible options across weekdays and weekends to fit your family's schedule.
